Big News

Hey all,

Sorry for the hiatus. Interview week was crazy around here, and doubly so for me since I am the Stage Manager for Wharton Follies, which opens tomorrow.

The R1 Admits are on campus now, which is a lot of fun and strange to think that I was in their place only a year ago. It feels like I have lived a thousand years since then.

On the job front ... the process of Wharton Recruiting was a rollercoaster ride, but I was very lucky to receive an offer from my top choice firm. I intend to accept and I will be a Summer Associate at the Moscow, Russia office of McKinsey & Company this summer. I am ecstatic for this opportunity, since this is exactly where I want to be for full-time after school as well.

We are back in classes this week, and the effects of the sub-prime crisis and the US economic slowdown on recruiting are still being ... determined. I will write more next week after I have recovered from Follies, but I just wanted to share this with all of you.

Cheers
Alex
